Each year, the Public School of Brookline produces reports on the progress in our schools and across our district in a variety of ways. Below you will find links to our most recent reports.
Required State Reporting
Each year, the Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education (DESE) requires all public school districts to report on student enrollment, course schedules, student outcomes, discipline, graduation and dropout rates, mobility rates, accountability levels, assessment outcomes, finance, and staffing. The DESE compiles this information into comprehensive profiles on every district and school. Brookline’s profile can be found by clicking here
At School in Brookline
The Public Schools of Brookline publishes an annual report titled At School in Brookline, which includes information on progress towards the district’s goals. The most recent editions can be found here:
Staff and Family Survey Reports
The Public Schools of Brookline administered feedback surveys to all parents/guardians and staff members during the 2014-15 and 2015-16 school years. The surveys were designed to be used alongside many other sources of data to provide constructive feedback to enable individual schools and the system to reflect on areas of strength and areas for growth.
