    All parents, guardians, and community members are invited to attend public meetings on the 9th Elementary School site selection process for a new K-8 elementary school on May 18 and June 7.

    All community members are invited to attend a meeting on June 8th for an update on the project schedule and construction by HMFH Architects and Shawmut Construction.

  • June 13 Public Meeting on BHS Expansion

    The BHS Expansion Working Group will hold a public meeting to update and inform the community about the anticipated BHS expansion and renovation as PSB prepares for the rapid increase in high school enrollment in the coming years. The Working Group will share the current timeline and process on June 13 at 7:00 p.m. at Brookline High School.

  • Pierce Honors Dr. Pipier Smith-Mumford

    The Pierce community gathered to honor Pierce Principal Dr. Pipier Smith-Mumford at a celebration held at Pierce School on May 25. Smith-Mumford is retiring in June, after 31 years at Brookline as a teacher and administrator, with the past 17 years as principal of Pierce.

  • Brookline Education Foundation Celebrating Teachers

    More than 200 people attended the Brookline Education Foundation (BEF) annual May event, “Celebrating Teachers”, at the Newbury College Student Center in Brookline on May 17. The standing room only event was well-attended by teachers and administrators. Each year the event celebrates the teachers of Brookline Public Schools.
