  • July 26 Joint Board Meeting 9th School site Selection Study Progress

    There will be a Joint meeting of the Board of Selectmen and the School Committee on Tuesday, July 26, 2016 at 7:00 p.m. in the Selectmen's Hearing Room located on the sixth floor in Town Hall. The agenda includes a progress update by the architectural firm Jonathan Levi Architects (JLA) on the 9th Elementary School Site Selection Study conducted this spring/summer.

  • School Committee Policies Under Review

    The Brookline School Committee, through its Subcommittee on Policy Review, regularly reviews and, when necessary, revises or creates written policies governing the Public Schools of Brookline. In an effort to improve public feedback on policy revisions, the proposed draft of any policy under review is posted on the Public Schools website when it is approved for a First Reading by the full School Committee.

  • Announcing New Deputy Superintendents

    Interim Superintendent Joe Connelly and Incoming Superintendent Andrew Bott are pleased to announce the two newest members of the Brookline Schools leadership team: Deputy Superintendent of Teaching and Learning Nicole Gittens, and Deputy Superintendent of Student Services Samuel Zimmerman.
